The YWCA is a global voluntary movement rooted in Christian faith and guided by the motto, ‘By Love, Serve One Another’. We promote the growth of women and girls of all backgrounds and encourages members to respond to the evolving needs of their communities.

Our women-led, rights-based training programs use a feminist, intergenerational approach to build leadership and skills that uplift entire communities.

For 160 years, YWCA has offered safe, inclusive spaces where women and girls can speak freely about health, rights, and violence.

SCHOOL
YWCA English School offers a vibrant learning environment that sparks curiosity, encourages discovery, and promotes innovation rooted in ethics and shared values.
SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL
We provide a well-rounded senior school experience, blending strong academics with life skills. Students are guided to choose streams aligned with their interests and future goals.
HOSTEL
Located in central Guwahati, we offer safe, fully equipped accommodation for female students and working women, along with clean guest rooms and dormitories—a true home away from home.
